Traffic is the big problem on the North Shore, how did it come on so quickly? Could it have been predicted?
The Lions Gate Hospital expansion is welcome in many respects. However, parking is already a problem and it seems to be mostly staff that are looking for the gaps in the 2 hour restricted portions of the street. It is only going to get more crowded.
How much staff parking is being provided with the expansion and will it be priced at a level to discourage street parking?
What kind of housing is available and is it going to be within the reach of the new employees?
There is a lot of older strata and rental stock in the west end of the neighbourhood. How is that going to be renewed? It looks like the rebuilding of the block that was destroyed by fire across the street from St Andrews Church was a success. Wasn’t that funded at least in part by the City allowing an extra floor on the new building? Can that be done elsewhere?
Didn’t have to knock on the door of this house (it’s where I live)
